Date -- May 9 '98      Hobby Supplies set new Australian X-Hydro 1/2 kilometre 2 Lap Oval record at 19.03 seconds.

Date -- Oct. 9 '98      Hobby Supplies set new Australian X-Hydro Straight-Line speed record at 161.434 kph (100.3 mph). This is the first X-Hydro 100 mph record set outside of the USA.  

**  Raised to 165.745 kph on 12/5/01  (103.00 mph)

Date -- Dec. 3 '2000   HOBBY SUPPLIES is appointed the Exclusive Australian Distributor for CMB Motori Italia. The latest range of CMB engines and spare parts should arrive mid December '2000 and we will be offering CMB Engines at the best prices Australia has ever seen !!!.

Date -- May 10 '2003     Seaducer SD3 Gas Mono set a new Australian 16-25cc Gas Mono Straight-line Speed Record of 108.433 kph (67.378 mph).

Date -- May 10 '2003     CMB .90 EVO2 powered 60/80 Seaducer SD3 Mono set a new Australian X-Mono Straight-line Speed record of 122.448 kph (76.087 mph) with a fastest one way pass of 126.567 kph on glass smooth water.

Date -- June 9 '2003     Seaducer SD3 42" Gas Mono set a new Australian 16-25cc Gas Mono 2 lap 1/2 Kilometre Oval Speed Record of 24.72 seconds with an average speed of 72.815 kph (45.246 mph).

Date -- June 9 '2003     CMB 90 EVO 2002 powered Seaducer SD3 60/80 Mono set a new Australian X-Mono 2 Lap 1/2 Kilometre Oval Speed Record of 23.25 seconds with an average speed of 77.107 kph (48.107 mph).

Date -- June 22 '2003    A Tony Grinter designed Gas Rigger powered by a G23 Zenoah set a new Australian 16-25cc Gas Hydro 2 lap 1/2 Kilometre Oval Speed Record of 21.16 seconds with an average speed of  85.065 kph (52.858 mph).

Date -- June '2003    One of our international customers, Dr. Phi Unkwang from South Korea, built this 42" Seaducer Gas mono powered by a Zenoah G260PUM engine. Dr. Phi is very pleased with the speed and handling of his new mono and looks forward to racing it very soon.  Dr. Phi plans on setting up a race team in Korea with Seaducer Monos.

Many one way passes were recorded over 100 mph.

Date -- May '10   Tony Grinter running a Seaducer Gas Sport Hydro powered by an Omen Race modified Zenoah G260PUM gas engine set a new Australian Open Gas straight-line speed record at 120.805 kph (75.06 mph).
Date -- June '10   Tony Grinter running his own design Gas Rigger powered by an Omen Race modified Zenoah G260PUM gas engine set a new Australian Open Gas Hydro 2 lap 1/2 Kilometre Oval Speed Record at 19.12 seconds - Average speed of  93.70 kph (58.22 mph).
